RENTAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

 

SHIPPING & DISPATCH

  • Express Post Service: All postal orders are shipped via Australia Post Express Post. Delivery is generally 1–2 business days to metro/CBD areas. For regional or rural areas, we recommend selecting an 8-day hire to allow sufficient time for postage.

  • Interstate Orders: To avoid delays, interstate customers should place orders at least 7 days before the event date. An 8-day hire is recommended for added peace of mind.

  • Dispatch Timeframes:  Orders are dispatched next business day..  Weekend orders are dispatched the following Monday

  • Remote Areas:  If you are outside the Express Post network, additional delivery time may be required. Please note Go Frock Yourself has no control over Australia Post delivery timeframes.

RETURNS (POSTAL ORDERS)

  • Each order includes a resealable satchel and pre-paid return label. Please place the new label over the old one and lodge the parcel at your nearest post office.

  • If you misplace your return label, contact us at gfyhire@gmail.com for a replacement.

  • Customers must use the provided return satchel unless otherwise agreed. If another postage method is used, tracking details must be supplied. Lost items without tracking will be deemed the customer’s responsibility.

DRY CLEANING​

 

  • All items are professionally dry cleaned by our trusted partner before and after each hire.

  • Customers must not attempt to clean items themselves. Any damage caused by cleaning attempts may incur additional charges.

FIT GUARANTEE (POSTAL ORDERS ONLY)​

 

  • Eligibility: Tags must remain attached to be eligible.

  • Store Credit: If the item doesn’t fit, return it with tags intact for a store credit equal to the hire fee (postage excluded).

  • Alternate Styles: Contact gfyhire@gmail.com immediately if your dress does not fit. We will try to send an alternate style/size (postage fees may apply).

  • Sizing Help: All garments follow Australian standard sizing. Extra sizing notes are provided on product pages. Contact us for guidance before hiring if unsure.

RENTAL RESERVATIONS

  • A booking is confirmed once the hire fee is paid in full.

  • Rentals can be reserved up to 6 months in advance.

  • Standard hire periods are 4 days or 8 days. Extended hire is available on request.

  • Last Minute Orders (3 days before start date): Not eligible for refunds if delayed or undelivered by Australia Post. Store credit only (postage excluded).

ITEM CONDITION

  • All items undergo professional cleaning, seamstress repair, and inspection before each hire.

  • While most items are in near-new condition, minor signs of wear may be present.

RETURNS AND LATE FEES​

 

  • Postal Returns: Must be posted back using the provided satchel/label on the final day of hire.

  • Late Fees: 25% of the hire price per day overdue. After 15 days late, items will be charged at 100% of RRP or price to replace (whichever is less) plus hire fees. Non-payment may be referred to debt collection.

REFUND, CREDITS AND CANCELLATIONS

  • Unworn Items: No refunds for change of mind/incorrect sizing. Postal customers may return. unworn, tagged items for b (hire fee only).

  • Faulty Items: Customers must notify us within 3 hours of receipt. Refunds/exchanges are only offered for major faults, not minor wear/tear.

  • Processing Times: Returns processed within 3–7 business days (longer in peak season).

  • Click and Collect Cancellations: Refunds (minus $45 fee under $200 hire / $75 fee over $200 hire) available if cancelled 48+ hours before hire start date. Within 48 hours: store credit only.

  • Postal Cancellations: Refunds (minus cancellation fee) available if cancelled 48+ hours before dispatch date. After dispatch: store credit only (hire fee minus postage).

SOCIAL MEDIA AND PROMOTIONS

  • Tag @gofrock.yourself on Instagram or @gofrockyourself on Facebook for a chance to be featured.

  • If your content is featured, you will receive a $20 credit off next hire​ as a thank-you.

  • Go Frock Yourself will never request financial details via social media.

PRIVACY

 

  • Personal information is collected and handled in accordance with the National Privacy Principles (NPPs).
