RETURNS & EXCHANGE POLICY

GO FROCK YOURSELF RENTAL ORDERS

At Go Frock Yourself, we want you to feel confident about your rental. We have a flexible cancellation and change-of-mind policy in line with the guidelines below. For postal orders, we offer a fit guarantee and an optional back-up dress for peace of mind.
All orders are eligible for store credit, and in some cases, a refund (minus applicable cancellation fees) depending on timeframes and circumstances outlined below.

  • Refund eligibilityCustomers must provide at least 48 hours’ notice before the scheduled hire start date.

 

  • Refunds are issued minus a cancellation fee:

    • $45 for rentals under $200

    • $75 for rentals $200 or higher
       

  • Store Credit:  Available at any time up until the scheduled hire start date for the full rental fee.

 

  • Inspection:  We encourage customers to inspect garments at pick-up.  Once a hire item leaves Go Frock Yourself premises, it is no longer eligible for a refund, credit, or exchange.

POSTAL RENTALS

 

  • Refund eligibility:  Cancellations up to 48 hours before dispatch (which may be up to 7 days before hire start) are eligible for a partial refund minus cancellation fees ($45 or $75 as above).

 

  • Store Credit:  Once an item has been dispatched, only store credit (minus postage) will be issued once the item is returned in original condition.

CONDITION OF RENTAL ITEMS


At Go Frock Yourself, all garments are:

  • Professionally cleaned by our trusted dry-cleaning partners

  • Inspected and repaired by qualified seamstresses

  • Delivered in as new or near new condition (minor wear and tear may be present)

 

  • Quality Assurance:  Every item is thoroughly inspected before dispatch. Customers collecting in-store may inspect garments before hire. Postal customers must leave tags intact until wear, as removal voids eligibility for refunds or credits.

  • Faulty Items:  Go Frock Yourself takes pride in maintaining high standards. In the rare case of faults:

    • Contact us within 3 hours of delivery.

    • We will arrange a replacement or partial refund on a case-by-case basis.

    • Minor wear and tear (marks, small repairs) is considered reasonable and not grounds for a refund.

    • Major faults (significant damage or impaired wearability) are eligible for exchange or refund.

  • Returns Processing:

    • Returns, credits, and refunds are processed within 7 business days of receiving items at Go Frock Yourself HQ.

    • During peak seasons (September–December), processing may take longer.

    • Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Store credits are valid for 12 months and cannot be reissued once expired.

  • Purchase / Sale Item Returns:

    • Purchases are non-refundable.

    • Returns within 14 days are eligible for exchange or store credit (excluding clearance/warehouse items, which are final sale).

    • Personal items (jewellery, shapewear, body tape, etc.) cannot be refunded for hygiene reasons unless faulty.
